Dirickx began his motorsport career relatively late, driving a kart for the first time at the age of sixteen. He competed for the Schepers Racing Service team, focusing primarily on the Rotax Max DD2 class. Dirickx secured the Dutch Championship (NK) title in the DD2 class in both 2021 and 2022. Sports car racing
In 2024, Dirickx transitioned from karting to LMP3 prototypes. To prepare for the season, he participated in the Prototype Winter Series at MotorLand Aragón early that year. He drove a Duqueine D08 for Gebhardt Motorsport, with former 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Marco Werner acting as his coach.[4]
His official main season debut took place in the Prototype Cup Germany.
- 2024 Season: Dirickx shared a Ligier JS P320 entered by Aust Motorsport with teammate Sven Barth. The pair achieved multiple podium finishes, including a second place at the Lausitzring and podiums at the Red Bull Ring.[5][6] During this season, Dirickx was a contender for the Junior championship title.
