Miss World Nepal 2024, Ashma Kumari, was originally scheduled to compete, but was later replaced by Miss World Nepal 2025, Luna Luitel, for undisclosed reasons.^[10][11]

Miss World Estonia 2025, Mari-Ann Rõuk, stepped down to focus on her studies and was succeeded by her first runner-up, Henel Vare.^[12][13]

Lauryane Dilo was originally the representative of Guadeloupe, but for undisclosed reasons, she was replaced by Annaëlle Ibo.^[14][15]

73rd Miss World China Rongfei Gan was replaced by Yifei Dong for undisclosed reasons.^[16]

Debuts and returns

This edition will mark the debut of Bhutan, Eritrea, French Guiana, Mozambique and Pakistan.^{[17][18][19][20][21]} Returning countries for this edition included Turks and Caicos Islands, which last competed in 2004;^[22] Fiji in 2017;^[23] Aruba, the Cook Islands and Laos in 2019;^[24][25] The Bahamas and Saint Lucia in 2021;^[26] and Guinea-Bissau, Morocco, Norway, South Korea and Tanzania in 2023.^{[27][28][29][30]}

Miss World Cambodia 2026, Soriya Khorn, withdrew for personal reasons.^[31][32]
