Nuwaubian Nation of Moors

Made edits here showing that Sharpton supported this controversial group due to racial tension in the area. It is widely acknowledged and sourced, including here: https://www.splcenter.org/resources/extremist-files/nuwaubian-nation-moors/. Why does it continue to be deleted? Your additions had multiple issues. Your reference only says "Al Sharpton came to Tama-Re in 1999 to speak against the town’s ostensible racism", but you changed that to "defended the Nuwaubian Nation", which is not the same. Your content about Dwight York is WP:SYNTH. Finally, the whole thing is WP:UNDUE; Sharpton has spoken thousands of times, are we going to include every one of them that are potentially controversial? al Sharpton was involved in the 1987 Tawana Brawley rape hoax and never apologized for the outrageous claims he made against innocent white men

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. This case is mentioned in the lede and in its own subsection already. LizardJr8 (talk) 20:09, 17 February 2026 (UTC)

Crystal Mangum Duke lacrosse case Sharpton and Jackson supported her.

Sharpton and Jackson both supported Crystal Mangum even though she admitted the whole was made up, where's the story about that? ~2026-13160-38 (talk) 16:10, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
