Not done, a reference to a reliable source supports that claim. If you want it removed, please establish consensus with other editors before making another edit request. MosquitoDestroyer (talk | mosquitoes destroyed) 03:25, 16 January 2026 (UTC)

Fox isn't a news channel

Fox News, a cable network, does not hold a specific "news license," as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) does not license cable channels or websites, only broadcast stations. Fox Corporation owns the channel, which operates under general business and media regulations, not a specialized license to broadcast news. Mobiledan (talk) 18:15, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Inaccurate information

The article presents inaccurate, biased, politically inspired information.

1 Controversies should be under controversies not the main 2 it is stated that Fox News willingly and knowingly reported misinformation such as with Covid 19 and climate change. These issues are not settled and the article is actually defamatory. ~2026-37429-49 (talk) 13:23, 29 June 2026 (UTC)

The information is well sourced. O3000, Ret. (talk) 13:50, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
I guess this is about the paragraph that starts with "The channel has knowingly endorsed false conspiracy theories to promote Republican and conservative causes." There are four cites to back up the climate change denial claim. The one I can access, Science Feedback says Fox mentioned a mini-ice-age prediction, says nothing about false conspiracy theories, and says ""UPDATE (24 Nov. 2018): Fox News has also updated its article. It now clarifies that “the Earth’s climate will remain unaffected ...” i.e. it is a poor source for what Wikipedia says. But dunno about the other cites. Peter Gulutzan (talk) 18:06, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
We avoid cites in the lead itself. But. there are numerous cites in the article of various conspiracy theories and misinformation spread by Fox News. A recent bit of misinfo today about the 250 "celebration" we won't bother adding. O3000, Ret. (talk) 20:59, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
