grammar edit
Hello everyone,
Under the topic "violence", it says:
In 2003, according to Stephen Atkins, Hamas resumed suicide bombings in Israel as a retaliatory measure after the failure of peace talks and an Israeli campaign targeting members of the upper echelon of the Hamas leadership.[i] but they are considered as crimes against humanity under international law.
Im not an english native speaker, but the bold marked part sounds weird, doesnt it?
I would change it to "These acts are considered..."
Kind regards,
Jay :) Jay Laserfocus (talk) 15:14, 22 April 2026 (UTC)
Done - it looks like this was a half-complete edit - we already reference that report immediately after this odd sentence fragment. I've de-duplicated the ref and removed the awkward phrasing. Smallangryplanet (talk) 17:00, 15 June 2026 (UTC)

- Can you copy/paste the text you read that caused you to write 'you forgot to write...'. Was it an AI summary or something else? I ask because the article does include information about terrorist organization designations. Sean.hoyland (talk) 10:02, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
- I also don't know why Hamas isn't referred to as a terrorist organization in the first line. There should at least be an FAQ about this above. Candidyeoman55 (talk) 19:15, 27 May 2026 (UTC)
- This is mentioned in the lead multiple times. Please see MOS:TERRORIST for more on how we apply terms like "terrorist" or "terror organization." Smallangryplanet (talk) 16:53, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
- Also, we already do have a FAQ about this above. Maybe it was added after this request? Smallangryplanet (talk) 17:01, 15 June 2026 (UTC)

- We have this already. On this page. It was added a while ago I think because this question comes up often. Smallangryplanet (talk) 17:59, 15 June 2026 (UTC)

Political position of Hamas
Hamas cannot be left-wing nor right-wing. It actually belongs in the "Third Position" which makes it far-right. ~2026-34603-15 (talk) 09:26, 13 June 2026 (UTC)

The Gaza strip has been under blockade, not occupation, since 2007. ~2026-34988-38 (talk) 04:07, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
