Proposal to add a short “Municipal finance” subsection under Administration

Hello,

I wanted to check whether it would be appropriate to add a short subsection titled “Municipal finance” under the Administration section of the Hyderabad article.

The proposed subsection would provide a brief overview of GHMC’s audited revenue and expenditure figures, based on data published on the Government of India’s CityFinance portal. Similar to the coverage on the Indore article (Indore#Municipal finance), this would include a short explanatory paragraph, a simple pie chart showing the composition of revenue, and a compact table summarising recent financial years.

I would welcome any feedback on the proposed placement and level of detail before proceeding.

Thank you. Janaagraha Wiki (talk) 06:18, 4 February 2026 (UTC)

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has been trifurcated to Cyberbad, Hyderabad and Secundarbad. Also the mayor's term has ended. Therefore please remove the name of Gadwal Vijaylaskshmi as the mayor of hyderabad.[1] ~2026-88127-1 (talk) 10:27, 9 February 2026 (UTC)

Not done: Can you give a source and mention who is the new mayor? Theeverywhereperson talk here 16:18, 10 February 2026 (UTC)

Hyderabad, Pakistan vs Hyderabad, India

The two Hyderabad articles seem almost oblivious of each other. The history of the names seems to be a bit connected? Something about Ali. They're pretty far apart - I thought maybe they were nearby each other and somehow got split in the Partition. Kindof like Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS in the US. But, no. They're 1400 km apart. It's almost like there's some sort of jealousy between the two, so each doesn't want to acknowledge the other? Could somebody write about that? PS: This article, itself, has only one instance of the word Pakistan. The article about Hyderabad, PK has more than a dozen. OsamaBinLogin (talk) 06:26, 28 March 2026 (UTC)

The wiki has not mentioned any minorities such as the Hyderabadi Tamilians , which have a distinct dialect and culture of other Tamilians , I hope that this edit goes through

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. {{GearsDatapacks|talk|contribs}} 11:18, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
