The result of the move request was: speedy move. I arrived to the page where I declined the speedy through CAT:A2RUP because another page was connected to it via {{r double redirect avoided}} and I misconstrued what was being requested. Consider it uncontroversial. (closed by non-admin page mover) — Godsy (TALKCONT) 06:18, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
WLLI (FM) → WBGN (FM) – Per naming conventions, US radio station articles are generally titled at the current official call sign; per the article content, the call sign was changed from WLLI to WBGN a few months ago. Not treating it as uncontroversial as an attempt to have this done via {{db-move}} was declined as not necessarily uncontroversial
(and continuing to deem the previous user of the call sign–WKYY (FM), which doesn't even have a separate article–as the "primary" (give-or-take the silent disambiguator) topic). WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 16:27, 20 June 2026 (UTC)
- Support I'd like to know where the db-move declining page mover Godsy thought this might be controversial. Pages in this field tend to move a lot since US radio stations like to change call signs when they change formats. And call signs that are freed up can be reassigned to another station in short order, so when things back up, it can turn into a real jam. Broadcasting page moves of call sign–titled stations (like this one) differ in some key respects from other types of page moves. Incidents like this at RM and RM/TR have led to me starting to write an essay to guide users not familiar with this topic area: User:Sammi Brie/Call sign page title moves. Godsy, please ping me if you have questions. Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 05:58, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
