Did you know nomination

Wolf's Lair, Los Angeles
Wolf's Lair, Los Angeles

1) not sure if the year is needed? Moby bought the property in 2010 and sold it in 2014

2) not sure if we want to specify that the property is in Los Angeles (or Hollywood) since it shares its name with a more notable location in Germany. My gut is that the DYK is more hooky without this clarification.

  • Article is new enough, long enough, sourced, neutral, and clean on an Earwig check. Hook could be a bit better (suggested alt below), but verified the buy and sell price. I've added an image, which is PD and used in the article; I've enlarged it a bit for clarity. QPQ has been done :) Suggesting:
ALT1: ... that former residents of Wolf's Lair (pictured) include the Beatles and Marlon Brando, but only in 2010 was a recording studio added?
Should be all from me – nice work, Gb321! theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 20:33, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
"but only in 2010 was a recording studio added" isn't very interesting to me, if we're going to go the route of ALT1, I think it'd be better to go ALT1b: ... that former residents of Wolf's Lair (pictured) include the Beatles, Marlon Brando, Debbie Reynolds, Moby, and the Rolling Stones?
I mean, all these musicians live there and none of them think to add a recording studio until Moby? I find that kinda strange, but I guess that's a matter of taste. Happy to let the next reviewer choose. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 04:40, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
Marlon Brando isn't part of "all these musicians live there", so if we want to go that route, I propose ALT1c: ... that despite former Wolf's Lair (pictured) residents including the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, a recording studio wasn't added until it was bought by Moby in 2010?
Ultimately, I'm happy to let the next reviewer choose as well.Gb321 (talk) 05:08, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
ALTs 1–1c needs review still. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 04:31, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
