This template adds a notice to a category page about a request for speedy renaming or merging.
Important: As well as tagging the category page with the template, you must list the request at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Speedy. This notice links to the request page; it does not by itself propose a speedy request. See how to use this page on CfD for further instructions.
Usage
{{subst:Cfr-speedy|Proposed name}}
where Proposed name is the proposed new name of the category being nominated.
Then use the following format to add the entry to the list for speedy renaming:
* [[:Category:Old name]] to [[:Category:New name]] – Reason for renaming. ~~~~
