  • ... that a 2025 study found that Benee's (pictured) "Bagels" reduced more anxiety than a song that had previously been described as "the most relaxing song in the world"?
Improved to Good Article status by Launchballer (talk), Georgeykiwi (talk), and Cybertrip (talk). Number of QPQs required: 2. DYK is currently in unreviewed backlog mode and nominator has 410 past nominations.

  • Launchballer, the article says as well or even better than which isn't quite "reduced more anxiety", so it would be nice if you could reword it somehow. Both hooks match the source and article, which says Of note, Bagels was rated significantly more pleasant than its gold standard, Weightless, being rated approximately 20% more pleasant and thus suggestive of greater therapeutic potency. Bagels also obtained the lowest arousal ratings of the six songs, though for this measure it was not significantly different from Weightless. Image appears to be freely licensed. Article recently promoted to good article status and looks good. Earwig's clears two possible copyright violations but those pages are just copies from Wikipedia. I see that your review has two articles in it, does that count as two QPQs?
PS I listened to Bagels for the first time when reviewing this. Very relaxing! Panamitsu (talk) 07:27, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
That's two QPQs alright. I'll have a hook when I've woken up.--Launchballer 13:31, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
The source says "Bagels also obtained the lowest arousal ratings of the six songs" and "requiring participants to rate how pleasant (or unpleasant), how arousing (or calming), and how dominating (i.e., directing attention) the song-induced emotions were, so changed the article to "found that "Bagels" was more calming than "Weightless"".

The source Frontiers In is a predatory journal and inappropriate for such a claim. Traumnovelle (talk) 03:11, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
Launchballer, I'll let you address this. Panamitsu (talk) 04:02, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
I cut the source.
  • ALT2: ... that Benee (pictured) once made a track with neuroscientists?
  • ALT3: ... that Benee (pictured) once designed a track to reduce anxiety?
"Designed to" does not mean "does", but if these don't work I might have to do some more research.--Launchballer 17:32, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
Yes these work, from this source. Panamitsu (talk) 02:09, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
