So these are my requirements for adminship.

Serious

  • In terms of edit count, 500 is way too low. I could run an RfA myself, and it would be a massive waste of everyone's time. I think 15,000 is reasonable, shows some commitment and longevity, mostly indicating understanding of the encyclopedia.
  • Having a user right shows you can handle admin perms. Even a single one would be good enough for me, though a second might be required for further convincing.
  • If you have 15,000 edits in a year, that's impressive, particularly if they're without Twinkle or Huggle. But 15,000 is hard to maintain, and to me, I don't want an admin to suffer from burnout. I'd prefer the edits to be spread out over about 30 months.
  • AfD stats should be pretty good. I won't oppose if your AfD stats are slightly imperfect.
  • Not setting a set number of created articles, but some should be there. No articles created would need some serious convincing.
  • I for one won't really take FA's, GA's, or DYK's into account. There are more important things to me. However, if there are many, you will impress me and not much more convincing would be needed.
  • Many editors have been blocked. I myself was blocked indefinitely which was lifted after six months due to the standard offer, and have (I think) become a better editor since then. Some minor blocks might be acceptable, but a few major ones or any in the last year will likely be a no.
  • Never edit for pay. This should be over by now.

Do YOU pass these?

It's very likely you do, otherwise you probably wouldn't be running an RfA. If you meet most of these and I'm satisfied, you'll be getting a support from me. Good luck with your RfA!
