Dear
Please help me in adding these places, Harub and the Al Juwain in this mold , Category: Populated places in Jizan Province , and thank you very much MOHAMMED0707 (talk) 22:20, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
Hello @MOHAMMED0707, your draft Al Juwain should be created as an article before any categories can be added. Currently, Draft: Al Juwain is not an article, but a draft. To turn your draft into an article, please improve the draft using the feedback I gave you so far and re-submit. Catalk to me! 03:45, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
I tried and tried hard to add the article, but unfortunately I still have the same problem. Can you help me edit and approve it after resubmitting it or giving me a draft and do the same and add to it? You have my sincere greetings MOHAMMED0707 (talk) 11:36, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
What kind of problem are you having? You can edit your draft Draft: Al Juwain at any time. Catalk to me! 01:15, 30 June 2025 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your comments, I would like to clarify:
1/ do you advise us to add to our article draft the references to Wikipedia artiles on Biological computing or Wetware computer, where we are cited?
2/ I fully agree with you that we should not use promotional tone and would like to avoid it. Could you let me know in which part of the current draft I used promotional tone?
Will be gre=ateful for feedback!

Hello, I think you forgot to log into your account User:Ewelinakurtys. Unless you can find more reliable and independent sources that cover FinalSpark in detail, I would recommend merging your draft to a related article instead. As for the second question, the current version of the draft doesn't seem promotional to me; it seems that you rectified the concerns raised by the previous reviewer. Catalk to me! 15:27, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
Hello, many thanks for your coments, we have references from Scientific American, Forbes and Tom's Hardware - do you think they are not reliable enough? Ewelinakurtys (talk) 09:30, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for the review, I added your suggested wikilinks Wetware computer and Organoid intelligence. Also put as a reference our peer review publication in Frontiers which describes the hardware and software infrastructure used to interface with living neurons. FredSearcher (talk) 13:05, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
Hello. Could you please see the draft I have revised? I have corrected the comments that were pointed out by another reviewer. I have found 3-4 independent authoritative sources that describe the award in detail:
I left a comment on the draft. Catalk to me! 01:35, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
Hello. I've read the sources. The jury and the number of applications change every year. For example, in 2020, there were 168 applications from 50 countries (33 applications were selected). The jury in 2020 included Deborah Bergamini, Guy Mettan, Christophe Deloire, Barbara Trionfi, and others. I have included this information in the article. Please take a look. Thank you! 95.153.160.54 (talk) 05:37, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
Thanks, with your improvements, I think the draft has a good chance of being accepted. Catalk to me! 07:05, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. Could you accept this draft? 95.153.161.107 (talk) 07:20, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
I don't usually review the same draft twice to avoid bias. Catalk to me! 15:31, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
It seems like the draft has been already accepted -- congrats! Catalk to me! 15:33, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for your comments, they were a big help as this is my first ever effort. Quick background: This piece was part of a longer piece on Preston Cook that I had originally submitted. That reviewer said there was enough content to break it up into three different entries. This is one of those pieces. Per your instructions I have since added links, citations, and references that are in-depth (where possible), secondary, reliable and independent, including news pieces from known outlets: NPR, the AP, Reuters, links to other Wikipedia content, and a link to the official Congressional website that features bills to be voted on. I have two questions before I re-submit. 1. With the proper permission form can I add photos to this article AFTER it's approved (fingers crossed)? 2. Any chance you could be the reviewer again once I resubmit? Again, thank you for your help, and your QUICK RESPONSE! Tmcfarlandpr (talk) 20:42, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
Hi, the added sources are big improvements--thanks for adding them. But while they are certainly reliable and independent sources, I have concerns that most of them doesn't actually discuss NBI in detail, and some does not even mention it. This makes it difficult to tell how great a role Mr. Cook played in National Bird Initiative, and how influential it was to the passing of the bill (see WP:NPOV). If you cannot find any more independent, reliable sources discussing NBI in-depth, I recommend adding the content to National Eagle Center, to which NBI is closely affiliated.
If the photo copyright holders agree to release their photos under a free license (see WP:Donating copyrighted material), you can definitely add photos to your draft, as well as it being stored in Wikimedia Commons for use in other articles as well. Catalk to me! 07:17, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for the comments. For clarification (and your reaction), I've already included a link to an Audubon Society story titled, "The Bald Eagle is Finally, Officially Our National Bird - Thanks to This Man". I can also reference an NBC News story titled, "One Man's Mission to Finally Make the Bald Eagle the U.S. National Bird", and reference a piece from The Economic Times titled, "Meet Preston Cook, the Man Who Fought for the Bald Eagle and Ensured America got its National Bird." This is from that article: "Cook launched the National Bird Initiative, self-financing a modest but persistent lobbying campaign." Each of these articles goes into specifics about what the NBI is, who Preston Cook is, how he single-handedly took up this cause - even wrote the legislation - and gathered congressional and outside support to get it passed. Are they not "in-depth" enough? I guess my question is, if these aren't appropriate, credible, independent sources with specific information, what other type of source material should I look for? Given that this was an effort to create a piece of legislation 250 years in the making, I feel it deserves it's own entry. Thanks for helping me get there.
Oh, and I apologize for the lengthy response. I know how swamped reviewers can be. Tmcfarlandpr (talk) 21:51, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for pointing out the Audubon Society link I missed; I see that it is a detailed biography of Mr. Cook. I recommend formatting it as a proper reference instead of an inline external link (see WP:ELBODY). I notice that an past version of Draft:Preston Cook has plethora of references about NBI. Why not cite them in the draft? Draft still has some sentences without inline citations.
Additionally, the NBI draft has some tone and phrasing issues. For example, words like "passionate", "rightful status", or "extensive" are not neutral. The use of "our" should also be removed as not all readers are Americans. The section NGO Supporters also cites only the websites of the NGOs. Can you find sources independent of NGOs that mention the endorsements and their significance?
With those issues fixed and more independent sources added, I think the draft will have a good chance of being accepted! Let me know if you have more questions. Catalk to me! 09:13, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
This is a huge help. Thanks for the guidance and encouragement! Tmcfarlandpr (talk) 13:54, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
I just finished methodically going through your comments and making (I hope) the edits you suggested. Regarding non-NGO endorsements, the most relevant ones I could find were from other legislators, and National Eagle Center staff, but that seemed to smack of self-interest. Also, I hope I got the "proper reference" format correct. I'd appreciate any further feedback. I think I'm close. Thank you again for your attention and help. Tmcfarlandpr (talk) 22:34, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
The draft looks much better now--I recommend re-submitting it for review. I suggest just a few finishing touches: External links that are not in references should be in an "external links" section. I am also skeptical of the claim "12,500 media stories worldwide". That sounds difficult to quantify and doesn't appear in the cited source. Catalk to me! 15:21, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
I just made the changes. In fact, I'm applying your guidance to the to the other drafts I'm working on. You're the best. Fingers crossed for approval! Tmcfarlandpr (talk) 17:52, 24 July 2025 (UTC)

Hi!!! I just created a page. How can I publish on current lorain Ohio mayor Jack Bradley? Lots on news right now about terrible police shooting in that town --Lorainhometown (talk) 15:13, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
Hello! I see that you started working on a draft at Draft:Jack Bradley. If you are ready, you can click the blue "Submit the draft for review" button to request a review of the draft. If a reviewer (like me) accepts the draft, it would be published as an article.
I don't recommend submitting it right now however. The currently cited sources doesn't give sufficient information about Mr. Bradley to base a well-fledged biography. See the help page WP:GOLDENRULE to see what kind of sources are recommended. Catalk to me! 15:31, 24 July 2025 (UTC)

Hi there! I'm another AfC reviewer, and noticed that this draft has been stuck in AfC for a while!
By the looks of the comments, as WP:GNG needs to be demonstrated, I don't think other reviewers have done so because all of the sources are in Korean.
I noticed you're an AfC reviewer who speaks Korean so just floating this your way in case you want to have a crack at it.

Scripts++ Newsletter – Issue 27
Hello everyone, and welcome to the 27th issue of the Wikipedia Scripts++ Newsletter, covering all our favorite new and updated user scripts since 2025! Boy, does it feel good to kick off the year with an issue. Yep, it's been a year since we cleared out the 2022-2024 backlog with issues 23 and 24! Good times. Though in this case "a year" just means... 6 months? 😯 The salience of whatever joke I was planning to make here has vanished speedily. Aaron Liu (talk) 21:00, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
Got anything good? Tell us about your new, improved, old, or messed-up script here!
Featured script
WikiTextExpander by Polygnotus, is this edition's featured script. At the click of a configurable hotkey, this script will find and replace or link a configurable list of phrases within the selected text in all source editors (even in the comment/reply field!). Besides allowing the quick insertion of templated messages, this script greatly mitigates the WP:WTF? problem by providing both the legibility of familiar words and the convenience of shortcuts. And to those asking, the capitalization of "Wikitext" as "WikiText" was a necessary sacrifice for far-more-memorable acronymy.
Updated scripts
CanonNi: AlertAssistant has been fixed and rewritten using OOUI instead of Twinkle's Morebits. Such modern, very tool. (Do note that the maintainer has since become inactive.)
NguoiDungKhongDinhDanh/AjaxLoader has been updated to use modern JS APIs that replace the browser's URL bar with the link you clicked on to load in place. The "back" (and "forward") buttons also work now. Cool, innit?
andrybak: Unsigned helper no longer shows an error when the message to sign was added in the earliest 50 revisions of a page's history. This is especially relevant to pages with short histories.
BilledMammal/Move+ needs updating to order list of pages handle lists of pages to move correctly regardless of the discussion's page, so that we may avoid repeating fiasco history.
Requested scripts
We need scripts that...
allow sorting lists of citations such as by URI or other identifier
automatically convert the capitalization of citations' titles
collect a list of discussion participants and generate a ping list
In breaking m:Tech/News, Gadgets can now include .vue files. This makes it easier to develop modern user interfaces using Vue.js, in particular using Codex, the official design system of Wikimedia. Codex icons are now also available. The documentation has examples.
New scripts
Appo/Globstory integrates OpenHistoryMap, updating the map whenever hovering/clicking on a location or year, the latter of which changes the map to be (hopefully) accurate to the year selected. It's pretty interesting.
linkinfo Somewhat similar to WP:NavPops, Awesome Aasim/linkinfo(pictured) provides a collection of links to replace the right-click context menu, presented beautifully.
PreviousDiscussions provides a link to search for your username on subpages of another user's userpage and talkpage conveniently.
Twineeea/noRedLinks brings you to the "read" instead of the "create" tab when you visit a red link. Contemplate life's mysteries as you stare into the blank! Deeply.
No, this is not going to be the enduring tradition of S++ for the future. This was meant to be a joke for the special occasion on the first day of the fourth month but was delayed by four months because I'm lazy.
Hi, Discogs is a user-generated source and thus is unreliable. Also, please do not use AI to write articles. See WP:LLM. Catalk to me! 11:49, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
The following discussion has been closed. Please do not modify it.
HI,
Thank you for reviewing the article.
As someone with a deep knowledge of the post-rock genre, I can confirm that Antonio La Rocca, the artist behind Lost Between The Roads, is a real musician and composer.
One clear proof of this is the in-depth interview published by Idioteq.com, a respected independent webzine in the post-rock scene:
In that piece, Antonio answered detailed questions via email — something that is not consistent with AI-generated content, but rather with a human artist sharing personal insights about his creative process.
Additionally, the debut single Fading Lights was covered by other independent publications such as:
Post Rock Nation: https://postrocknation.com/bands/3214/lost-between-the-roads?sfnsn=scwspwa
MeridioNews is a highly respected Sicilian news outlet, often compared in its role and influence to what The Washington Post represents in the U.S., but for the Sicilian and Southern Italian context. Its coverage of local music culture is considered reliable and authoritative, making it a valuable independent source.
Beyond this, Lost Between The Roads has been discussed and shared across multiple international post-rock communities, including forums, Facebook groups, and specialized pages dedicated to the genre. This ongoing presence in independent communities, together with coverage from recognized niche publications, supports the project’s notability within its music scene.
I believe this information shows that the article subject is a real, active artist with verifiable, independent coverage. Would it be possible to reconsider the article in light of these points?
I was mistaken; it looks like the artist is a real human, even though they use AI-generated imagery to represent themselves. However, that does not address the issues that come with AI-generated Wikipedia articles WP:LLM. Catalk to me! 11:11, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
Thank you for your reply and for acknowledging that the artist is a real human.
I would like to clarify that the article was NOT created by simply generating it through an AI tool. The text was manually written and curated, based on verifiable and independent sources such as Idioteq.com, Progrock Journal, MeridioNews, and Post Rock Nation, all of which have published coverage of the artist.
If any part of the writing style appears to resemble AI output, I am happy to completely rework the text in a format fully compliant with Wikipedia’s content guidelines, ensuring it is entirely human-written and strictly based on cited sources.
My only goal is to present a factual, neutral, and well-sourced biography that reflects the subject’s relevance within the post-rock music scene. If needed, I can prepare a new draft and invite you or another experienced editor to review before resubmission.
Would this be an acceptable way forward?
Thank you for your time and for helping ensure the article meets Wikipedia’s standards. 93.176.152.83 (talk) 11:28, 8 August 2025 (UTC)

Question from Tooharsh4you (06:29, 10 August 2025)
Hello mentor
I want to create a wikipedia article for a person --Tooharsh4you (talk) 06:29, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
Hello @Tooharsh4you. The help page WP:Your First Article is an excellent guide to starting your first Wikipedia article. Do you have the person you want to write about in mind? Catalk to me! 11:46, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
Hi, I made an article in my sandbox, but the name appears as 'User:xyz' and I would like it to be a proper article (it is in an obscure language which Wikipedia sadly doesn't recognise)
I'm not sure whether there are enough people who would read and edit (as the language is really only spoken in St Lucia as the Grenadian and Trinidad communities who speak creole have been decreasing lately). I will try ask though (I am new to this whole Wikipedia editing thing so still getting used to it). Thank you for your help KeyolTranslater (talk) 12:54, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
Hello again, I followed the stated guidance to the best of my ability (and made a Wikiproject page etc.) and I was wondering if that was all I had to do or If I have missed something out. Here is the request I placed: Requests for new languages/WIKIPROJECT Antillean French Creole - Meta
Thank you in advance and I hope this isn't too much bother. KeyolTranslater (talk) 16:34, 11 August 2025 (UTC)

Draft:Fair Planet
Hello. You recently rejected my submitted draft for Draft:Fair Planet, stating that "most of the sourced currently cited in this draft are written by Fair Planet themselves or their partners, making them non-independent". While this is true, I would like to make the point that this NGO, by its very nature, is very unlikely to get much independent coverage. This is because it's an NPO whose benefactors are smallholder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa. Farming in general, and smallholder farming in particular are two topics that don't get as much attention to begin with; add to that this is happening in the poorest continent, in some of the poorest countries in that content (about $1000 GDP per capita in target countries); Most importantly, once you realize that the benefactors of the NGO, who are subsistence farmers, are almost entirely illiterate, you can understand why there isn't much independent mentioning of this NGO online. Honestly, there's almost nothing online beyond what I cited.
That being said, my article does include some sources that confirm that indeed the NGO operates in the target countries in the way it describes in its own publishing - first and foremost the Dutch government, some of the suppliers of the seeds, and there are also a few independent sources that write about this NGO in English. UncleMatt (talk) 13:48, 22 August 2025 (UTC)
Hello, unfortunately without independent sources, it is impossible to write a neutral article that balances multiple perspective—that is why the article inclusion exists, regardless of the organization's situation. All you can do is to wait for independent, reliable and in-depth sources to be written about your organization. In the meanwhile, you can explore alternative venues, such as Substack or Medium (website).
In the meantime, can you link the independent sources you mentioned here? Catalk to me! 21:49, 22 August 2025 (UTC)
Here's a list of independent sources I used in the article:
Would it help if I use some of the above and remove the sources from Fair Planet's own website? What if I mark the article as a "stub"? UncleMatt (talk) 11:21, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
Draft: National Bird Initiative - review compliment
I noticed you archived our User Talk conversation, and I wanted to thank you one last time for your comments and encouragement back in late July: "With those issues fixed and more independent sources added, I think the draft will have a good chance of being accepted! Let me know if you have more questions." I did make significant changes and submitted the draft last week. Again, thank-you!! Tmcfarlandpr (talk) 17:01, 25 August 2025 (UTC)
Article declined (Chemical Parks). How can I make it Wiki compliant?
I recently submitted an article about the "Chemical Parks" but it got declined.
This was the reason given - "Your draft shows signs of having been generated by a large language model, such as ChatGPT. Their outputs usually have multiple issues that prevent them from meeting our guidelines on writing articles. These include:
I did use an AI to "edit" the article to make it better and perfect the grammar, but it was not entirely written using AI. Can you help me in getting this live? Newsenthu (talk) 05:39, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
The main problem is that most of the article lack sources and comprise WP:Original Research. That is, the article is mostly composed of novel conclusions not found in the cited sources. In addition, the articles reads like an essay than a purely informative text. Please do not depend on AI to write articles. Catalk to me! 07:42, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
