If it helps, the reason I'm focusing on blocks specifically and not topic-bans is because many of the other subjects of PIA5 - especially BilledMammal and Nableezy - were quite prolific in filing threads before that Arbitration 86'd them and you from the topic area. If I were to focus on topic-bans as well, the majority of threads between Oct. 15 2023 and PIA5's close would require a note that they were topic-banned by PIA5, which gets very repetitive very fast. Thanks. Socks of course are never yoted/banned, in practice. Because they have long registered under dozens of potential accounts, unlike editors who stick to one identity.They remain active in the very arbcom threads long after their victims are iced/aced. @Jéské Couriano I was actually about to come here to leave a similar comment; but a bit less 'warning-y'. I've seen you around enough to know you have generally good community sense and judgement, so your terseness in some recent help forum replies is not something I would readily write off as you just being a dick. Please be mindful of burnout; I, like anyone else, have definitely had the experience of rolling my eyes at a question and thinking "my God, did this person not do a single second of research or even critical thought before they asked this question?" When you hit a point where that frustration bubbles over and you feel the need to express it, that's a good sign to step away from responding to the help forums for a while and get your head down editing something you enjoy. I would second not edit warring with the TA anymore. The article is protected and the TA is only vandalizing talk pages now which aren't under BLP. It's only clogging edit summaries now. Realtent (talk) 00:03, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

Our guidelines and the very blunt summaries of them are as thus:

WP:Neutral point of view - Articles cannot be written to promote or denigrate a subject; they are mere summaries of what reliable sources say with minimal deviation from that, if any.
WP:Notability (music)#Criteria for musicians and ensembles - To be deemed eligible for an article, a subject must meet one of the following criteria:

Has been extensively covered in multiple reliable sources as described above (no such sources have been provided);
Has charted on any country's national music chart (no such sources have been provided);
Has had a record certified at least Gold-level (no such sources have been provided; Soundcloud- or other platform-specific charts do not count);
Has had a national or international tour covered by reliable sources as described above (no such sources have been provided);

WP:Disruptive editing#Failure or refusal to "get the point" - When people are telling you your draft is unacceptable due to policy-based reasons, do not waste yours and their time trying to browbeat them into compliance.

First, can you send email to other users? Second, can you receive email from other users (which is not the same as receiving it from Wikipedia)? Third, try User talk:Robert McClenon/To Jéské Couriano, which is security by obscurity. Security by obscurity is adequate for many purposes, such as when I swim, I lock my street clothes in a locker, and take the key to the side of the pool with my towel. I don't understand what you are saying about IP blockage, and the people at Village pump technical don't seem to understand what you said. Maybe you can explain in more detail. Are you saying that Wikipedia blocked the sending of the note? They suggested that your ISP may have sent my note to your spam folder twice. It would have gone twice because the content was the same. They suggested that you check your spam folder, or check with your ISP whether my note was blocked as spam. Can you explain in a little more detail what your theory is, or can you check the theory that I was offered? However, maybe it doesn't matter, because I told you what locker I put my pants in. It wasn't in my spam folder, I can tell you that much. (That's actually one of the first folders I check.) I know that, in the event of system emails (such as password-reset emails) an account editing under a blocked IP won't get the email because the system prevents the email from being sent. Umrao Singh Bhati

The OP in that RFPU etc. post is neatly inverting what happened: the biography is the long-term stable version, and they have been repeatedly attempting to hijack the article into an article about the caste, which already has an article. To be fair as far as it goes, that page was at Bhati dynasty when this started, but it doesn't change the fact the OP has been the one disrupting and refusing to listen. I've left a warning on their latest TA's talk page and a CT/SA notice; I keep an eye on RFPP in general, but since I sometimes miss stuff early in the day, if they post there again please feel free to ping me to deal with it.
