Vandalism notice
While I agree with your edit, your vandalism warning on my talk page is inappropriate. Vandalism is a willful and malicious action. Please do not place such notice unnecessarily. Just revert the edit in question. I can read your edit summary. 🐈Cinaroot 09:54, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Cinaroot: Hi there, {{uw-image1}} is a prewritten warning template intended to inform editors about Wikipedia's image policy, where they may have been unaware of some aspect of it. I didn't and wouldn't regard the edit as vandalism, I just wanted to let you know Wikipedia's policy on the use of AI images. Belbury (talk) 09:58, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
- I see - was the edit summary auto-generated? 🐈Cinaroot 10:02, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Cinaroot: Yes, everything apart from the italic text at the end of the message was automatically generated by WP:TWINKLE.
- I agree, though, "image-related vandalism" is really not a great edit summary, for the way that this template is meant to be used. I'll see if I can get that changed. Belbury (talk) 10:06, 15 May 2026 (UTC)

Beer in England
Sorry about that. I didn't see the blocked user edits.
Although, I do think the page needs some work and the edit made by Kevin was removed. Might suggest changing the images that are a bit outdated now. ~2026-30245-28 (talk) 12:38, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- Would you be interested in revamping the page with me, @Belbury? ~2026-30245-28 (talk) 12:48, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
CS1 error on Image scaling
Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Image scaling, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A bare URL and missing title error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 13:36, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
Stop posting on my talk page
I already made very clear that you all should stop posting any more comments on my discussion page – what is so hard to understand about that? Continuing to put comments there is harassment. I use an LLM only as a translation aid: I read the German article carefully, generate a draft, then check and correct everything myself for accuracy, style and Wikipedia standards. This process is fully in line with Wikipedia’s official LLM-assisted translation guidelines. I also verify every single source to make sure the content matches the original. My English is excellent, I lived in Canada for some time, so there is no issue at all. Just be grateful that someone is improving stubs and giving readers information, instead of behaving like bullies. It is ridiculous and really rude to keep spamming my discussion page like this. Please stop. EiersalatmitGurken (talk) 12:28, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
- @EiersalatmitGurken: Sorry, but I don't see a notice anywhere that people shouldn't post comments to your talk page. The entirety of my interaction with you has been removing your AI-generated images from two medical articles, asking whether you also used AI to generate the text, you deleting my question with no edit summary and me asking it again after another editor reverted your work as LLM text. It's an important question that needs some kind of answer.
- Are you following Wikipedia:Translation#Attribution requirements when translating articles from the German Wikipedia? It's not clear to me which of your edits are translations. Belbury (talk) 12:37, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
- I use machine translation only for single words or short phrases when needed similar to checking a dictionary. Depending on the article I sometimes also translate whole paragraphs. In the future I will add the attribution to the edit summary when I do that as required by the translation guideline. EiersalatmitGurken (talk) 12:50, 30 May 2026 (UTC)

Revert
Hi. Why revert my edit? ~2026-34201-23 (talk) 20:27, 9 June 2026 (UTC)

The Original Tour
Hi Belbury, I see you reverted my edits for the Original Tour page - just trying to update this to reflect the change of brand that happened recently. I have provided links to the new website and information on the takeover :) Staticauto990 (talk) 15:34, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Staticauto990: Thanks, do you have a source for the renaming as well as the takeover, though? The website isn't entirely clear as a source, when the tootbus.com domain is still apparently live and still using that name. Belbury (talk) 15:40, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Sure, if you look at the Tootbus London main page it states “Operated by The Oroginal Tour” (although you can’t see this in mobile view, only desktop) and there’s a picture of the rebranded bus https://www.tootbus.com/en/london/tours Staticauto990 (talk) 15:55, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Staticauto990: Hmm I'm not seeing either of those things on the website from here. The only two pictures I see on that page https://cms.tootbus.com/sites/default/files/styles/ratp_lg_webp/public/2024-12/London%20HOHO_picture.JPG.webp and https://cms.tootbus.com/sites/default/files/styles/ratp_lg_webp/public/2024-11/Tootbus-Kids-Tour_Kat-Forsyth-106.JPG.webp, both still branded as Tootbus. Belbury (talk) 15:59, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- The photo is embedded in the hero banner rather than pulled from their CMS, and it's only visible in desktop view, not mobile. Seems they haven't updated all their photos yet Staticauto990 (talk) 16:09, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry I sent you the wrong link actually - https://www.tootbus.com/en/london/home Staticauto990 (talk) 16:10, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Staticauto990: Okay. Since this is a company that used to be called The Original Tour, then rebranded as Tootbus, and you're now saying has rebranded back to The Original Tour, that photo doesn't confirm the second rebrand - it may just be an old picture from before the first rebranding.
- I'll revert the renaming until we have a clear source for it having happened. Belbury (talk) 16:36, 12 June 2026 (UTC)

James O’Brien
He is left wing on literally most view points "The funny thing is, LBC never hired O’Brien to be a leftie firebrand" https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/apr/01/james-obrien-lbc-brexit-can-live-with-centrist-dad

- @Al19757291072: It's worth trying to summarise the James O'Brien (broadcaster)#Political ideology section, which is a bit more nuanced, if we think it's worth mentioning his political views in the lead. Might be worth raising this on the article's talk page, for other editors more familiar with his work --Belbury (talk) 13:48, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
