Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:PostDICOM

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:PostDICOM, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. - TurquoiseGoosethey/them•(talk) 06:39, 20 June 2026 (UTC)

June 2026

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "PostDICOM", may not comply with our username policy. You may not use a username that represents the name of an organization, product, or service, such as "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not your role, such as "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Wikipedia prohibits accounts shared by multiple people and you may not advocate for or promote any topic regardless of your username. Please read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia neutrally, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. - TurquoiseGoosethey/them•(talk) 06:39, 20 June 2026 (UTC)

Hi TurquoiseGoose, thank you for the welcome and for pointing out the username issue. I completely understand the policy and realize that using "PostDICOM" was a mistake. I have already filed an official request at Special:GlobalRenameRequest to change my username to my personal name ("Ozcan Oksuz") to fully comply with the individual account guidelines. I have also added my COI disclosure to my page and am working through the Articles for Creation process. Thank you for your guidance! PostDICOM (talk) 06:57, 20 June 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm TurquoiseGoose. An edit that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is not allowed on Wikipedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or ask your questions at the Teahouse, a friendly place for new users. Thanks. - TurquoiseGoosethey/them•(talk) 06:53, 20 June 2026 (UTC)

Hi TurquoiseGoose, thank you for reaching out. I want to assure you that every single citation and academic study listed in the draft is 100% real, verifiable, and accurately represents the peer-reviewed literature (such as the Journal of Imaging Informatics in Medicine survey). There are no hallucinated facts or fictitious sources here.
That being said, I hear your feedback loud and clear regarding the prose style. I am an individual editor who is still learning the ropes of encyclopedic formatting, and I may have relied on a rigid structure that mimics programmatic text.
I am committed to manually rewriting and rephrasing the text entirely in my sandbox to ensure it has a completely natural, human, and organic summary style that satisfies the community. I have also requested a global rename to an individual account ("Ozcan Oksuz") to fully resolve the corporate username issue. I appreciate your patience with me as I fix these formatting and account mistakes! PostDICOM (talk) 06:58, 20 June 2026 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your account has been blocked from editing because your username gives the impression that the account represents a group, team, club, organization, company, product, department, or website. Your username is the principal reason for the block. You are welcome to continue editing after you have chosen a new username that complies with Wikipedia's username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.

Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change to this account.
  • To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then make a new one.
  • If you prefer to change the username of this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
    • Before requesting your new username, check if it is still available. If the search says "There is no global account for [username]", the username is free to use.

The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual:

  • You are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually. Examples include: "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

If your username does not represent a group, organization, department, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your user talk page (this page): {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Rename completed. Unblocking as username was principal reason for block. That said please be sure to read and follow the noted WP:COI guidelines and also complete the mandatory paid editing disclosure as an employee of an organization if you intend to edit in related areas to the company you have been editing about (noting that editing is considered paid as an employee even if you are not directly compensated for it). Simplest method is by placing a {{paid|Employer=xxx}} template on your userpage. Courtesy ping to @Jimfbleak Mfield (Oi!) 05:13, 21 June 2026 (UTC)

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. - TurquoiseGoosethey/them•(talk) 07:50, 28 June 2026 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from making edits generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology) to Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Draft:PostDICOM, as LLM-generated content is prohibited on Wikipedia. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Sarsenethe/they•(talk) 07:54, 28 June 2026 (UTC)

Feedback
The reviewer, ChrysGalley, left the following feedback:
This draft appears to contain text generated by a large language model (such as ChatGPT). You cannot use LLMs to generate article content.

LLM-generated pages with certain obvious signs of being machine generated may be deleted without notice.

These tools are prone to specific issues that violate our policies:

  • hallucinations: they often invent false information and cite non-existent references.
  • unencyclopedic tone: they tend to be vague, promotional, or essay-like, rather than neutral and factual.
  • copyright issues: they may closely paraphrase existing text, leading to copyright violations.

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

See the advice page on large language models for more information.
This draft reads like an advertisement. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a platform for promotion or marketing. Drafts that are exclusively promotional may be deleted without notice.

Wikipedia articles must be written neutrally in a formal, impersonal, and dispassionate way. They should not read like a blog post, advertisement, or fan page. Rewrite the draft to remove:

Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject.

If you have a conflict of interest (e.g. you are the subject, an employee, or a relative) or are being paid to edit, you must disclose this to comply with Wikipedia's Terms of Use.
I reached the view that this was AI assisted (or similar tool) wording before I read the history of the article. The phrases are exactly those used by assistive technology. This was not an entirely human produced draft in my view: The platform has been integrated into clinical research workflows for dataset curation and remote image review - that is not how humans write. and it is using AI implied promotional terms such as "curation". Overall this is an attempt at promoting the product rather than being an encyclopedia entry.
