Band Articles

Are you thinking of creating an article on a band you know? First, check to see if there is already an article for the band. Next, remember that Wikipedia has certain music notability requirements that bands should meet in order to have their own article. Some of these include being featured in multiple non-trivial published works or winning a major music award, such as a Grammy, Juno or Mercury Music Award. A band need not meet all of these criteria, but it should meet at least one of them.

ITN recognition for 2024 Senegalese presidential election

On 11 February 2024, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2024 Senegalese presidential election, which you created. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. PFHLai (talk) 15:50, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

What are your edits?

I noticed you edited the article I recently created: Warhol.SS 6 times, but didn’t contribute anything. Instead, you removed information from the article, then readded it yourself, with the edit summary “#article-section-source-editor”. You’ve also done the same thing in the Thorium dicarbide article. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 19 November 2024 (UTC)

Unilateral (?) change of WP:WPCT

In this edit, it appears you changed the target of the shortcut WP:WPCT from Wikipedia:WikiProject Canadian Territories to Wikipedia:WikiProject Connecticut. Had this been discussed beforehand? (Also of note is the fact that WP:CONN already points to WikiProject Connecticut.) Thanks! SomeRailfan (talk) 01:07, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
