Hyperlinks in virtual worlds (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log | edits since nomination)

I propose merging to Warp (video games). It fails WP:GNG and has overlap with Warp (video games) based on existing content. Could potentially be merged into Hyperlink alternatively, but I would argue that Warp makes more sense mechanically.Yaoshiiscool (talk) 22:21, 21 May 2026 (UTC)

Per A412 and Zxcvbnm, I withdraw my nomination for merging and I instead renominate the article for deletion given that it fails WP:GNG and its duplicative content with Open Cobalt#3D hyperlinking and OpenSimulator#Features. Yaoshiiscool (talk) 05:11, 23 May 2026 (UTC)

Edit: Delete now that this is a deletion nom. Previously when this was a merge nom: Oppose as WP:UNDUE. Sources are WP:PRIMARY, and the reliable sources discussing warps do not discuss "hyperlinks". A sourced merge to virtual world is possible, but not with the current sources or the current content: Article content is duplicative of Open Cobalt#3D hyperlinking and OpenSimulator#Features, and the sources the article content is actually sourced to are primary. The two sources in EL are promising, but the article is not based on them. ~ A412 talk! 23:50, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
Thank you. I intend on withdrawing this nomination, but do you think it would make more sense to nominate for deletion or merging into virtual world (perhaps virtual world#Geography)? Yaoshiiscool (talk) 00:15, 22 May 2026 (UTC)
Virtual world#Geography is probably the best target but as per my above statement I'm unsure if the current article contains any secondary-sourced content that would be due to include there. ~ A412 talk! 09:26, 22 May 2026 (UTC)
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: Relisting in light of the fact that it has been less than a week since the nomination was revised.
