Zenned

Fails WP:GNG. Unable to find any secondary sources. Asked page author (coi btw) for more sourcing and was unable to come up with any credit toward GNG. Good day—RetroCosmos talk 15:09, 8 September 2025 (UTC)

All the information is purely factual. Like which desktop it uses, which package manager, etc.
The information has been provided by two independent sources from the project: Distrowatch and "La Garza Resistente". Distrowatch being a well know and long term authority on the topic. Both tried the OS themselves, and provided the info they observed.
Hence, put in context, this information can hardly create a conflict of interest or be twisted.
Stricter policies around conflict of interest seems more useful to less factual information. Like events related to certain people or entities, which will require more sources for validation.
Looking retroactively I had followed a more accurate path for publishing this page, since I'm involved in the development of Zenned. But the fact is that the page is already here, and due to the above, I don't see the use of deleting it. Es20490446e (talk) 15:40, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
I note distrowatch is a listing with reviews being user generated, and la garze resistente is a youtuber. Good day—RetroCosmos talk 18:23, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
The technical information, which is the only info included in the Wikipedia article, is not used generated. But reviewed and edited by the owners of the website. Es20490446e (talk) 15:08, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
  • Delete I PROD'd this at NPP. Still don't see it meeting WP:GNG. Stuartyeates (talk) 20:47, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
This is the same situation as conflict of interest. Speaking about people, organizations and events require a minimum of notability and media coverage for being relevant to the reader.
But when you are just simply listing an operating system, that info is relevant to the reader despite widespread coverage. Es20490446e (talk) 15:13, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
  • Delete: Lacks significant coverage in reliable sources to meet the general notability guidelines. Schützenpanzer (Talk) 22:39, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
