Secondary nationalities should be omitted from the opening sentence and only mentioned in a personal life section if trivial—e.g. driver was not born/raised in the country or previously competed under the flag—per this discussion.

Which of the following three wording choices should be used for the header template at the years 1700, 1800, and 1900 (with "(day of the week)" replaced by Friday, Wednesday, and Monday respectively)?

1. an exceptional common year starting on (day of the week)
2. a century common year starting on (day of the week)
3. an exceptional century common year starting on (day of the week)

Considering an overwhelming majority of our readers don't move past the first paragraph, I feel it is important to include a brief mention of the controversial topics, since "controversial" can be anything from alleged criminal behavior to capitalization of names.
