General discussion
- Regarding pool, this is excellent news. That article does need some work on it. I'll do what I can, if you have any questions about the intracacies of the different versions of pool, drop me a message. I do have access to Shamos' book, which should be an invaluable source. Also, I've already GA'd nine-ball, so there's some ref ideas on that page. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 11:24, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
What happened to week 47? I can't find it in active pages or in archive. Trying to get it posted for upcoming Signpost. ☆ Bri (talk) 01:52, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- Right now WP:AFI is displaying "This week's article for improvement is: <ugly redlink>". Not a good look. ☆ Bri (talk) 19:08, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Came here to say the same thing. Sahaib (talk) 22:14, 24 November 2024 (UTC)

AfI article Injury is not Injury in humans
I see with some feelings of alarm that Injury, an overview article covering animals and plants, has been chosen as the improvement target for this week: I don't recall seeing any notice on the article's talk page.
These feelings are compounded by the fact that an experienced editor has placed a list of medical (qua, human-centred) sources at Talk:Injury with an invitation to editors to get stuck in.
The article has an intentionally brief sub-section Injury#Humans, an aside to the Injury#Animals chapter. The sub-section is a single-paragraph summary with a "Main" link to the Injury in humans article. The summaries in the article *could* perhaps be slightly longer, but given the "Main" links in each section and the separate articles that they link to, the sections should remain in balance – i.e. if we extend the Humans section slightly, we should do the same to the Animals and Plants sections.
It'd be appreciated if AfI editors could keep an eye on the article as I don't specially wish to spend the week firefighting misplaced, lengthy, and possibly enthusiastic additions. Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:11, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
