- Commercial services along the Nile between Egypt and Sudan resume for the first time since 2020.[13]
- China lifts tariffs on imports from Egypt until 2028.[14]
- 12 May – Ismaily SC are relegated from the Egyptian Premier League after losing 2-1 to Wadi Degla SC, marking their first relegation since 1958 and only the second relegation in the club’s history.[15]
