Auerbach in der Oberpfalz (German pronunciation: [ˈaʊɐbax ʔɪn deːɐ̯ ˈʔoːbɐˌpfalts] , lit.'Auerbach in the Upper Palatinate') is a town in the Amberg-Sulzbach district, Bavaria, Germany. In the subdivision Michelfeld there was a Benedictine monastery which is now a nursing home.

Geography
