Adam William "Doughboy" Drummond (born December 10, 1982) is a Canadian organized crime figure and member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (HAMC), operating primarily within Eastern Ontario. Known by his street name "Doughboy," Drummond's criminal history spans more than a decade of involvement in regional outlaw motorcycle clubs (OMGs), transitioning from the Outlaws Motorcycle Club to the rival Hells Angels Nomads ecosystem. His activities have routinely drawn multi-jurisdictional crackdowns by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Biker Enforcement Unit.
Early Life
Drummond was born on December 10, 1982, in Kemptville, Ontario, a small town located south of Ottawa. Growing up in the rural North Grenville region, Drummond established a reputation locally for frequent physical altercations and involvement in the town's underground fighting subculture. He later leveraged his local presence to open independent storefront ventures in Kemptville, including a clothing outlet and the Du Soleil Tanning Studio.
Biker Affiliations
Outlaws MC (2009–2014)
In 2009, Drummond formally entered the Ontario outlaw biker scene by joining the Outlaws Motorcycle Club—the historical and bitter global arch-rivals of the Hells Angels. During his five-year tenure with the Outlaws, he became deeply embedded in territory control disputes in the corridor between Ottawa and northern New York state. His involvement culminated in an August 2013 raid on his Kemptville retail business, where local police seized quantities of cocaine intended for trafficking. Defection and Association with Phil Boudreault (2014) In 2014, Drummond cut ties with the Outlaws MC to align with the Hells Angels network. This high-risk defection was brokered following a direct introduction to Phil "Crazy" Boudreault, a high-ranking, notorious Hells Angels member and former Olympic boxer from Sudbury. Boudreault's influence in the province's biker landscape facilitated Drummond's entry into the Hells Angels support pipeline, positioning him within the sphere of the elite Ottawa Nomads chapter.
Criminal Investigations and Imprisonment
2016 Narcotics Conviction
On March 23, 2016, a heavily armed joint task force—composed of the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, the Biker Enforcement Unit (BEU), and the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT)—executed a targeted raid on Drummond's fortified residence on McGovern Road in Oxford Mills. The operation yielded a significant quantity of cocaine, cash, and prohibited weapons (specifically a switchblade). On August 3, 2016, Drummond was convicted of possession for the purpose of trafficking and sentenced to over two years in a federal penitentiary.
2019 Organized Crime Raids
Following his release, Drummond returned to active support club operations, prompting renewed surveillance. On July 17, 2019, the Ottawa Police Service Drug Unit and the OPP BEU executed simultaneous search warrants at Drummond's commercial property on County Road 43 in Kemptville and his residence.
The raids uncovered:
- Significant quantities of oxycodone and suspected opioids
- Illegal cannabis distillates, THC vape arrays, and CBD concentrates
- Commercial processing gear, including a mechanical press and digital scales
- Unclosed stockpiles of official Hells Angels paraphernalia and support gear
Drummond and his wife, Shannon Harper-Drummond, were arrested. Drummond faced 11 total counts, including possession of Schedule I substances for trafficking and five counts of breach of recognizance.
Full-Patch Status (2022)
Despite lengthy stints of incarceration and strict court-ordered release conditions, Drummond successfully navigated the Hells Angels' rigorous vetting and prospecting hierarchy. In 2022, following the resolution of his prior major legal terms, Drummond officially achieved "full-patch" status within the Hells Angels, formally earning his colors as a full member tied to the regional Nomads infrastructure in Eastern Ontario.
