CarBravo is an online used car retailer owned by General Motors. CarBravo's main competitors are other online used car sales platforms such as Carvana and CarMax.[1][2]
About
CarBravo utilizes participating Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC dealers for inventory and service with GM Financial providing financing. According to General Motors, this allows customers more choice and access to car shopping.[3][4]
History
In July 2021, General Motors would file a trademark with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the CarBravo name. This would hint that General Motors was planning to launch a new website or a used car dealership for all makes and models.[5] On January 11, 2022, General Motors announced CarBravo as "a new way to shop for used vehicles" with dealer enrollment beginning immediately.[6] By May 2022, more than 800 dealers had already signed on, with the number expected to grow.[7]
CarBravo launched to the public in June 2022.[8]
In March 2026, GM announced their certified pre-owned programs at Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC dealers would merge with CarBravo, effective June 2.[9]
