DOT One Airlines is a planned Iranian airline that aims to be one of the largest in the region. It is owned by the Alibaba bus company. DOT One was founded in the year of 2024.[1]
DOT One initially in 2024 would announce it was planning to operate the Boeing 737 classic family.[2]
DOT One's owner is the controversial Babak Zanjani who was at one point the richest man in Iran until his 2013 arrest.[3]
This is one of Babak Zanjanis new ventures among the DOT One group, a holding comapny owning DOT One Railways and DOT One Printing Company.[4]
