The project released its debut full-length album Hakai in 2015 through METAL JAPAN RECORDS.

Reception
Deathroll has received coverage from both online and print music publications.
Reviewing Japanese Extreme Metal Art for AVO Magazine, Peter Dennis highlighted the album's combination of black metal aggression, atmosphere and neo-classical influences. He praised the songwriting and compositional structure, particularly the track "The Grey Life", describing the album as atmospheric and rewarding repeated listening.[2]
Japanese Extreme Metal Art was also reviewed in the Japanese heavy metal magazine WeROCK.[3]
Reviewing A Woman Collapsing on the Glacier, Rock Attitude described the album as a psychological descent rather than a conventional black metal release. The review praised its atmosphere, emotional depth and cinematic qualities.[4]
Rock Attitude also highlighted tracks such as "Emptiness", "Blizzard of Despair" and "Hymn of the Extinction", while praising the reinterpretation of Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor, Op.54.[5]
