Deep in (Chinese: 入戲; pinyin: Rù Xì) is a 2026 Chinese-language Singaporean boys' love (BL) streaming television series directed by Liu Junhao and starring Ollie, a member of the boy band Loong9, alongside Zhang Shuyuan. The series is adapted from the contemporary danmei web novel of the same name by Tong Zi. It premiered globally on June 26, 2026.
Synopsis
The series utilizes a metanarrative "show within a show" structure to explore psychological boundary blurring and method acting within the entertainment industry.
Chen Xin (played by Ollie), an acclaimed young actor who has recently won a major accolade, is cast alongside Zhang Zhun (played by Zhang Shuyuan), a rookie actor seeking a career breakthrough, in an intense psychological LGBTQ+ film. On screen, they portray psychiatrist Fang Chi and his patient Gao Zhun, whose professional relationship boundaries quickly dissolve during clinical sessions into a complicated dynamic of desire and romance. Off camera, the rigorous filming schedule and deep role immersion cause both actors to lose sight of where their characters end and their genuine interpersonal attraction begins, forcing them to confront real-world emotional consequences.
