Ekimetrics is a French data science and artificial intelligence company, founded in 2006 and based in Paris. It builds statistical models that measure the effect of marketing spending on sales, which it uses to advise clients on their marketing and budget decisions. The company also operates offices in London, New York and Hong Kong.[1][2]
History
Ekimetrics was founded in 2006 by graduates of the École Polytechnique. Jean-Baptiste Bouzige is its chief executive, and the firm is held by five partners.[1][3] Early on, it applied marketing mix modeling and statistical analysis to measure how clients' marketing spending affected their sales.[1]
Tikehau Capital and Bpifrance took a minority stake in the company in 2020, investing €24 million.[4] Three years later, Ekimetrics adopted société à mission status, a French legal status for companies that write social and environmental goals into their bylaws.[5] It made its first acquisition in 2026, buying the United States analytics firm Actable.[6]
Activities
Ekimetrics works mainly in marketing measurement, using marketing mix modeling to estimate how much each marketing channel adds to a client's sales and return on investment.[1][2] Forrester named the company a Leader in its Marketing Measurement and Optimization Services Wave in 2023 and 2026.[7]
