Comment: WP:NPROF likely not met. The subject's work is not widely cited according to Google scholar. Developing a new graph model and teaching methods is not sufficient, see the detailed criteria breakdown at Wikipedia:Notability (academics)#Specific criteria notes. Comment: I added achievement of the academic to meet WP:NPROF criteria #1 and #4 because F. Laux contributed a new graph data model and new teaching methods.

Friedrich (Fritz) Laux is a German computer scientist.
Laux studied mathematics at the University of Tübingen (1971–1976). After graduating, he worked as a research associate at the Astronomical Institute in Tübingen. After receiving his doctorate (1981),.[1] he worked as a systems analyst at Tandem Computers. From 1986 to 2015, he was a professor of databases and information systems at Reutlingen University, where he conducted the first cooperative doctorate with a foreign university in 2010.[2][3] He participated in the EU-funded research projects DBTechPro and DBTechExt.[4] His research focuses on data models, transaction management, data analysis, and data mining.[5] He contibuted to DBKDA research papers on transaction processing[6][7] and lately published papers together with Malcolm Crowe on a property graph model implementation[8][9] and the Graph Query Language for the Pyrrho database management system and used it to implement the LDBC Financial Benchmark[10].
He developed the "Typed Graph Model"[11], a hypergraph data model with schema support and he contributed to the teaching methods to harmonize higher education in the European Union[12]
He is an IARIA Fellow and member of the DBKDA steering committee. In 2012, he received the Reutlingen University Research Award.[13]
