Hrid-Jarčedoli is a Sarajevo local community within the Stari Grad municipality. It consists of the settlements of Hrid and Jarčedoli. The headquarters is located on Jarčedolska Street.[1]
Location and geography
It is located in the southeast of the municipality and consists of the Hrid and Jarčedoli settlements. Both settlements are characterized by very hilly terrain with houses and a large number of green spaces, although Jarčedoli is significantly less densely populated than Hrid. To the north, it borders Babića Bašća; to the east and southeast, it borders Širokača; to the southwest, it borders Mahmutovac; while to the west, it extends to Put Mladih Muslimana and the Centar municipality.[2]
The Put Mladih Muslimana road stretches through the western part of Hrid, serving as the M5 main road that connects Sarajevo with the Romanija region and the Podrinje area.
Recreation
The Jarčedoli area is home to the large excursion sites of Popov Gaj and Trebević-Vidikovac.[3]
