Kasper G (formerly known as KASPERG, born Kasper Johannes Granroth, 1993, Espoo, Finland) is a Finnish DJ, music producer, musician and record label founder based between Helsinki and Berlin.

Career

Kasper G began his musical career as a drummer, performing with several acts including indie band Constables and Jori Sjöroos's Rooxx project. His reputation as a versatile musician led to him being recruited as drummer and musical director for Finnish pop artist ALMA, a role he held from 2016 to 2020, touring internationally with her across Europe and beyond.^[1] Alongside his live work, Granroth developed a parallel career as a solo DJ and producer, releasing music under the name KASPERG before adopting the name Kasper G. His international breakthrough came when Mixmag awarded his track Until U're Gone (Murder He Wrote remix) a score of 9/10, describing him as "an artist who's at the top of his game right now".^[2] His 2018 Take Over You (Remixes) EP received musical support from Martin Garrix, Rüfüs Du Sol and Rudimental. Granroth has established himself as a prolific producer and songwriter, contributing to releases by Elina Madetoja, Vesta and Elias Gould, and remixing artists including Alma, Kyla La Grange, Lxandra, Rony Rex and Grammy Award-winning producer John "P*nut" Harrison. He has also collaborated with international artists including Metsakutsu, Rita Ray and J.WOCKENFUSS. His single Good Right Here feat. Kailaa received coverage from international music outlet Earmilk,^[3] while his Luvattu EP (2020) and Dancefloor Politics EP (2025) were both issued on vinyl in addition to digital formats. His In Das House EP was reviewed by international music blog Acid Stag.^[4] In addition to his work as Kasper G, Granroth leads the music project Loverse and has released music under the alias Fella Sleep.

Lost Favourite Records

Founded by Granroth in 2017, Lost Favourite Records is an independent record label through which Kasper G has released his own music and signed and collaborated with artists including Palma (Alec Palmroos), Molly Mae, Hosiannah, Elite Tennis Club, Fabich, Lachlan Dalton (also known as Jafunk), Lasse, Perttu, Understate and Murder He Wrote. The label has also released music by Grammy Award-winning producer John "P*nut" Harrison, who released his Wake Up EP through the label, and Estonian singer-songwriter Rita Ray, who co-wrote Elina Madetoja's single Täysikuu, also released on the label. Canadian songwriter and producer Erik Alcock, known for his work on two Grammy Award-winning Eminem albums, also contributed to the label's releases.
