Kaylen Mark Silverberg, M.D., is an award-winning, board certified reproductive endocrinologist, researcher, professor and advocate for patients facing fertility challenges. Since 1997, Dr. Silverberg has served as the medical director of Texas Fertility Center (TFC), one of the United States’ largest fertility practices with locations in Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, New Braunfels, Round Rock and Cedar Park, Texas.
Based in Austin, Dr. Silverberg specializes in minimally invasive fertility surgery and assisted reproductive technology (ART), including intrauterine insemination (IUI); in vitro fertilization (IVF); intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI); donor sperm, egg and embryo services; and egg freezing. Among his top areas of expertise are pelvic adhesion prevention and the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of endometriosis.
Dr. Silverberg has served as an educator, program director and lab director in the obstetrics and gynecology departments of several Texas medical schools. A frequent invited speaker at reproductive science society conferences, he is an active researcher whose findings have improved the safety and effectiveness of fertility treatments around the United States and the world. For decades, he has held key leadership roles with notable associations and societies within the reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialty.
An outspoken advocate for better insurance coverage and stronger legislation to support fertility patients, Dr. Silverberg currently serves as the chair of the Medical Advisory Board for Americans for IVF[1], a coalition of experts and advocates dedicated to advancing the accessibility and understanding of in vitro fertilization (IVF) across the United States. In this role, he is among a select group of experts who advise the White House and the Domestic Policy Council on access to IVF and fertility care.
Dr. Silverberg has made multiple appearances on Fox News, National Public Radio and local ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox affiliates speaking on topics related to infertility, IVF, endometriosis, political issues related to infertility, abortion, personhood of embryos and infertility research.
