Meters Music is a United Kingdom audio equipment manufacturer headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Kown for manufacturing headphones, earbuds, and other audio products featuring a patented analog-style VU meter display. The brand originated from a collaboration with Ashdown Engineering in 2017. As of 2024, Meters was acquired by ERA Music Brands.[1] [2]

History

Meters Music debuted globally in 2017 at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas as a consumer and Hi-Fi audio brand. Known for its incorporation of an active analog-style VU meter into its product design, the comapny was initially associated with Ashdown Engineering, a British manufacturer of audio equipment. [1] In 2022, TechHive reported on Meters Music's participation at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), where it introduced new models including the LINX System, featuring its signature VU meter design. [3] In 2024, ERA Music Brands acquired Meters Music. [2][4]

OV-1-B-Connect Tan

Meters Music produces consumer audio products, including over-ear headphones, earbuds, and wireless audio devices. Several of the company's headphone models have incorporated illuminated and RGB-adjustable analog style VU meter as a patented design feature, including its flagship OV-1 series headphones. Partnerships

In 2025, Meters Music became an official audio partner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Local news outlet Tampa Bay 28 reported on the partnership and the company's involvement with the organization.[6] In 2025, Meters Music entered into a partnership with the USL Championship club Las Vegas Lights FC.
