Monit s.c. is a Polish software company headquartered in Warsaw, developing production management software for the glass industry. Its primary product, MonitGlass, is a manufacturing execution system (MES) for glass processing enterprises.[1]

Background

Prior to MonitGlass, glass processing companies in Poland relied on software from Western European suppliers, including German A+W Software and Austrian LiSEC. These solutions were associated with high licensing and implementation costs that limited their adoption among small and medium-sized enterprises.[1][2]

History

Monit s.c. was founded in 2017 in Warsaw by Łukasz Typiak and Piotr Żak. The company's first commercial customer in Poland was acquired in 2019.[1]

In 2024, MonitGlass added support for imperial units of measurement, enabling the company to enter the United States and United Kingdom markets.[3] The company acquired its first customer in the United States in 2025.[4]

As of early 2026, the company reported customer growth in Hungary, Ireland, and Australia.

Product

MonitGlass is designed for manufacturers of insulated glass units (IGU), tempered glass, laminated glass, and monolithic glass.[2]

The system incorporates QR code scanning to track production stages in real time, following principles associated with just-in-time manufacturing.[2]

Modules

The software is structured around three modules:

  • Office module — covers customer management, quote generation, order processing, and production scheduling.
  • Production module — provides QR-code label generation, real-time production status monitoring, a mobile application for shop-floor workers, and file export for CNC equipment.[1]
  • Logistics module — supports glass rack tracking and delivery planning.

Competition

The glass processing software market is served primarily by Western European and American vendors. A+W Software (Germany) and LiSEC (Austria) are among the established suppliers in this segment.[2]
