Nailoong (Chinese: 奶龙; pinyin: Nǎilóng) is a fictional dinosaur in the animated series Nailoong and all its derivative works, created by Xie chengen[1] and produced by Shenzhen Seventh Impressions Culture Media Co., Ltd., a company film production from China.[2]

The name "Milk Dragon" and all derivative works thereof are registered trademarks. On October 14, 2020, the name "Milk Dragon" was registered as a trademark. [3]

Background

The inspiration for Milk Dragon came from the childhood experiences of its creator, Xie Chengen. At that time, Xie Chengen was interested in dinosaurs and dreamed of exploring the world of dinosaurs when he grew up. So, he created Milk Dragon in 2020. [4]

The name "Nailoong" can literally be translated as "Milk Dragon," referring to its cute, gentle, and adorable nature, like a baby or child.

Popularity

Since its debut release in 2020, the series has collaborated with several game IPs, including "Honor of Kings." As of January 26, 2025, it has over 22 million followers on Douyin and 1.86 billion views on Bilibili.
