Next Level Racing is an Australian manufacturer of sim racing cockpits, seats and simulation equipment, headquartered on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Founded in 2009 by Hess Ghah, the company designs, manufactures and exports racing and flight simulators and sells its products in more than 50 countries.[1][2]

History

Next Level Racing was founded in 2009 by Hess Ghah, who left commerce-law studies to start the business. The company began by selling equipment for home sim racing, including steering wheel stands, pedals, seats and cockpits, before expanding overseas.[1]

By 2021 the company was exporting to around 50 countries, and demand for simulators rose during the COVID-19 pandemic as professional race teams used them for driver training. That year Next Level Racing was named Queensland's Exporter of the Year at the Premier of Queensland's Export Awards.[2][3] In 2022 the company won the Creative Industries category at the Australian Export Awards.[1][4] The same year, Next Level Racing engaged PwC to run a search for outside investors as it pursued a growth funding round.[5]

Products

Next Level Racing's product range includes sim racing cockpits, racing seats, wheel and pedal stands, monitor mounts, motion platforms and flight simulator cockpits. Its cockpit lines include the foldable GTLite and GTLite Pro and the aluminium-profile GTElite and F-GT Elite. The GTElite and GTLite cockpits have been reviewed by independent sim racing and technology outlets.[6][7][8][9]

The company also produces flight simulation hardware, including a flight simulator cockpit developed in partnership with Microsoft Flight Simulator and a co-branded cockpit developed with The Boeing Company.[10]

Partnerships

In April 2022, Next Level Racing announced a global partnership with Scuderia Ferrari's esports division, becoming an official technical partner of the Scuderia Ferrari Esports Team; the partnership produced the F-GT Elite 160 Scuderia Ferrari Edition cockpit.[11]

In October 2024, the company announced a three-year partnership with the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), becoming an official FIA simulator partner.[12]

Next Level Racing has been the official simulator hardware partner of Motorsport Australia since 2021, with the partnership renewed in 2025,[13] and in September 2025 announced a partnership with the motorsport engineering company Cosworth.[14]

Recognition

  • Queensland Exporter of the Year, Premier of Queensland's Export Awards (2021)[3][2]
  • Creative Industries category winner, Australian Export Awards (2022)[4]
