Nikita Kahn (born Iryna Osipova, 1991) is a Ukrainian-American actress, model, film producer, interior designer, entrepreneur, and animal rights activist.

She is known for her supporting role in the 2011 film Catch .44 alongside Bruce Willis, as executive producer of the 2017 documentary The Last Animals, and for her past relationship with Oracle co-founder and ex-CEO Larry Ellison.[1][2]

Early life and education

Kahn was born as Iryna Osipova in 1991 in Ukraine (then part of the Soviet Union). She emigrated to the United States and settled in California.[3]

She earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism (or business administration) and an MBA from the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics in Ukraine. After moving to California, she obtained a diploma in Interior Design & Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. She trained in gymnastics and ballet as a child.[4][5]

Career

Acting and producing

Kahn made her film debut in the 2011 action-thriller Catch .44, directed by Aaron Harvey, playing the uncredited role of Mel's girlfriend opposite Bruce Willis. She has trained at several Los Angeles acting institutions, including Lesly Kahn & Co., Howard Fine Acting School, Speiser/Sturges, and An Acting Studio. She has also received training in stunt driving and performance driving.[6]

Her producing credits include executive producer on the 2017 documentary The Last Animals, which focuses on wildlife poaching and extinction. She later appeared in You're Afraid (2022) and played Marcy McCallum in the 2024 crime thriller Crescent City, directed by RJ Collins and co-starring Terrence Howard and Alec Baldwin.[7]

Modeling and media

As a model, Kahn has been featured in publications such as Hola!, InStyle, L'Officiel, Angeleno, and Luxury Magazine. She has maintained a lifestyle blog and online presence covering beauty, health, nutrition, fitness, and travel.[8]

Interior design and business

Kahn is the founder and CEO of Solagio, an interior design and real estate studio based in Malibu, California. Her design philosophy emphasizes warm, timeless spaces with neutral palettes, classic pieces, and understated sophistication. She has also been involved in restaurant projects.[9]

Philanthropy and animal advocacy

Kahn is an active animal welfare and wildlife conservation advocate. She serves on the board of the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA and supports the California Wildlife Center. Her philanthropy with the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance led to the naming of the Nikita Kahn Rhino Rescue Center at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, dedicated to southern white rhino conservation and genetic rescue efforts.[10][11]

Personal life

Kahn met Larry Ellison around 2010, when she was 19 and he was 66. Their relationship lasted several years. Multiple sources indicate they married in 2015 (his fifth marriage). They separated around late 2016, and their divorce was reportedly finalized in 2020.[12][13]

In 2024, she was romantically linked to real estate agent and television personality Mauricio Umansky.[14]
