Q ENERGY Solutions SE is a renewable energy company headquartered in Berlin, Germany, and part of Hanwha Solutions, a subsidiary of the Hanwha Group. The company develops and operates solar and wind energy projects as well as battery energy storage systems across several European countries, including France, Germany, Spain and Portugal.

History

The Q ENERGY Group was established in 2022 following the integration of the French renewable energy developer RES France, acquired by Hanwha Solutions in 2021[1], and the "Green Energy Solutions" division of Hanwha Qcells.[2]

The creation of Q ENERGY formed part of Hanwha’s strategy to expand its renewable energy activities in Europe.[3]

Operations

Q ENERGY develops and operates renewable energy projects, including photovoltaic power plants, onshore wind farms and battery energy storage systems.[5]
