Rudy Feinauer is an American drummer and percussion instructor based in Westchester County, New York. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music in jazz percussion (Class of 1990),[1][2] he has taught drums and percussion privately for over 30 years.[3] Earlier in his career he was the drummer for the Bruce Springsteen tribute band Tramps Like Us.[2][4]

Feinauer studied percussion at the New England Conservatory of Music, where he completed a degree in jazz percussion as a member of the Class of 1990.[2][1]
Career
Performance career
Earlier in his career, Feinauer performed as the drummer for Tramps Like Us, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band that appeared in concert series in New York state and at regional venues.[2] In January 2013, with Tramps Like Us, he appeared on the Fox 5 New York morning program Good Day New York.[4]
Coverage of a 2016 New Rochelle ReStore Music Fest listed Feinauer on drums, describing him in connection with Tramps Like Us and identifying him as a New England Conservatory trained percussionist.[5]
According to local press, Feinauer has performed or recorded with multiple rock, blues, and jazz musicians and has appeared at clubs and stages in the New York area. [2]
Teaching career
In addition to performing, Feinauer teaches drum set and percussion. Local coverage has noted that he has taught drums and percussion in college and public school settings and that he offers private lessons. [2]
