The Samsung Galaxy S27 is an Android-based smartphone that is going to be designed, developed, manufactured, and marketed by Samsung Electronics as part of its Galaxy S series. To be created by Samsung Electronics, It will be announced in 2027, and according to rumors, it will be released with the base S27, S27+, S27 Ultra, and a new "Pro" model,[1][2] which it will serve as the successor to the Galaxy S26 series.
History
Development
Development of the Galaxy S27 began shortly after the announcement of the Galaxy S26.[3][4] It was reported that the new Pro model was to feature a 5000 mAh battery, which is significantly bigger than the 4300 mAh and 4900 mAh battery capacities of the Galaxy S26 & Galaxy S26+.[5] The screen size for the new phone was also leaked, reportedly having a 6.4-inch screen size, which is significantly bigger than the 6.3-inch screen on the S26.[5] The model number of the Galaxy S27 was initially leaked in a GSMA database.[6] It was rumored that the Galaxy S27 Pro would feature a Privacy Display feature used in the Galaxy S26 Ultra.[7] The model number of the Galaxy S27 Pro was initially leaked in a GSMA database in June 2026, confirming the existence of the device.[2][8]
