Snap is a British children's television comedy drama series was created by Ken Allen Jones and that aired on CITV in the United Kingdom between 24 February 1997[1] and 4 May 1999. It was produced by Tetra Films and Carlton Television for the ITV network.
Premise
Photographer Dave Taylor (Gerard Horan) runs his business from home, assisted by Ellen (Leanne Hailwood), by his son Ben (Dean Cook) and schoolfriend Alice (Kirsty Bruce), but somewhat hindered by Paul Devlin (Ian Reddington), a would-be Arthur Daley. Devlin's dodgy deals amount to nothing, usually at Dave's expense; Dave is a good-hearted soul, though, and he tends for Ben, whose mother is working in Tibet. In the third and final series, Dave himself was absent and his mother returned. (This turned out to be Victoria Wicks in a sympathetic role a million miles away from Sally Smedley in Drop the Dead Donkey).[2]
