The Takeover is a villainous professional wrestling stable performing in WWE on the SmackDown brand. The group consists of Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin. Cargill is a former one-time WWE Women's Champion.

Background

Jade Cargill won the WWE Women's Championship from Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night's Main Event XLI.[1] After she won, she had multiple backstage interactions with Michin and B-Fab. Cargill defeated B-Fab in a non-title match on the November 14, 2025, edition of SmackDown in a dominant faction, before B-Fab was injured in a match against Cargill at a house show on January 1, 2026.[2] On the May 13, 2026, edition of SmackDown, Cargill defeated Michin in a non-title match, after Michin was injured in a match against Cargill on a live tour in December 2025.[3] Cargill claimed that the injury was intentional.[4]

History

The Takeover (2026-present)

On the March 20, 2026, edition of SmackDown, during Cargill's in-ring segment with Rhea Ripley, Michin and B-Fab returned, attacking Ripley and allying themselves with Cargill, turning heel.[5] The trio established themselves as a dominant force in WWE, attacking superstars and calling themselves "Baddies". Cargill named the group "The Takeover" on social media.[6] At the second night of WrestleMania 42, Cargill defended her title against Ripley. Michin and B-Fab attempted to interfere, but were thwarted by Iyo Sky, allowing RIpley to defeat Cargill for the championship, ending her reign at 169 days. [7]

On the May 8, 2026, edition of SmackDown, during a 6-woman tag team match between Fatal Influence and Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, Cargill made her return, helping Fatal Influence win the match. After the match, Michin and B-Fab attacked Bliss and Flair. [8]
