Toshiki Soejima (Japanese: ソエジマトシキ; born January 1, 1992) is a Japanese Neo-Soul guitarist, composer, and music educator known for the distinct timbre of his guitar and focus on instrumental sounds. In 2025, Eric Clapton named him his favorite contemporary Japanese guitarist.[1] His music has gathered over 10 million streams online.[2]
Career
After working as a guitar teacher and session musician, Toshiki Soejima gained initial attention through his Youtube Channel,[3] where his cover video "Feel Like Makin' Love"[4] has reached over 6.2 million views. He followed this up by releasing original music, including his first EP "Life" in 2021 and albums "True" (2023), "Scene" (2025) and "Kimana Beats" in 2025. He hosts a Japanese-language podcast called Kimana Talk.[5]
