True , someone locked this page Fuzzylogic2020 (talk) 14:27, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
Read it carefully please. The domicile was issued by some random officer during Kasab's arrest. It was fraudulent, illegal and the officer's employment was terminated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2409:4042:4E82:133E:29D8:882E:270D:8D1D (talk) 21:21, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

Using gentle terms
Kasab was a terrorist and convicted by court with death sentence for his terrorist act.
People who want to use gentle terms (like 'militant') in the name of neutrality can try doing so on 9/11 page or on page about Bin Laden. Thoukodran (talk) 14:03, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- Start by reading WP:TERRORIST and consider that NPOV means not just the Indian view, but also the view from the other side. Osama bin Laden is actually a really good example and I would encourage you to read the lead. He is not described as a "terrorist", it's a more nuanced description. In the opening sentence, he is called the "...founder and first general emir of al-Qaeda." Later in the opening sentence, it says he "supervised numerous terrorist attacks". Later in the lead, he says he is "listed on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists". Even the categories for the article attribute who calls him a terrorist, but not a blanket statement that he IS a terrorist. There are, of course, counter examples to this all over the place here. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed as a notable example. For many cases, using the term "militant" or "extremist" and then designated by XYZ as a terrorist in an article on the person tends to be easily accepted. Anything more really needs discussion on the talk page and probably on WP:NPOVN, especially with articles in this area being designated as a contentious topic.
