Hi Toast1454! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Rain World that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. TheWikiToby (talk) 19:11, 8 May 2024 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi Toast1454. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [Rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision - that's all. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 16:51, 31 March 2025 (UTC)

Re this blind revert to Tofu-dreg project, which added back unsourced material to the article, and the subsequent incorrect warning you left on my talk page.
It is one of Wikipedia's strongest policies that all additions of information must include a citation, especially when they accuse people of a crime. You should know this by now.
My edit removing the accusation had an edit summary that you ignored in your hurry to revert using automated tools. Misuse of automated tools in this way can lead to editors having them removed.
Please slow down and be more careful in future. And also revert you addition of unsourced accusations to the article. Thanks. 81.2.123.64 (talk) 16:43, 2 April 2025 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Hi, Toast1454. Thanks for patrolling new pages. I've declined your deletion request for a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to read the new tutorial for patrollers, criteria for speedy deletion, and particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion or proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Thanks! 204.111.137.20 (talk) 19:38, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- I'm still not seeing the purpose behind the Melotone Records disambiguation page. Nothing links there except your talk page. Toast1454TC 19:50, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- Again you need to read WP:CSD, so please answer one simple question, is Melotone currently a DAB page as of 1900 UTC today when you placed the speedy tag? yes or no will do. 204.111.137.20 (talk) 19:53, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- Which Melotone page are you referring to here? Melotone Records (disambiguation) or Melotone? Toast1454TC 19:55, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- The one I linked, Melotone, please answer with yes or no. 204.111.137.20 (talk) 19:56, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, Melotone has been a disambiguation page for years now. The CSD tag was placed on the redirect to the disambiguation. Toast1454TC 20:02, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- We're getting to that. So again yes or no will do here, as of 1900 UTC today when you placed the speedy tag did Melotone Records (disambiguation) target Melotone? 204.111.137.20 (talk) 20:03, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, the redirect to disambiguation has always targeted Melotone.
- I have something to attend to, please hold the conversation. Toast1454TC 20:06, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- I don't know what you mean by hold, I don't expect prompt replies nor do I infer anything from explained tardiness.
- Returning to the topic, you have admitted knowledge that at the time of your speedy tagging the redirect it was placed on targeted a disambiguation page. So I would like to understand why given that knowledge you would place Template:Db-g14 since the only redirects the criteria applies to are "Redirects that end in "(disambiguation)" but target neither disambiguation pages nor pages that perform disambiguation-like functions (such as set index articles or lists)". 204.111.137.20 (talk) 20:17, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- I misread the G14 criteria, they are written in a confusing manner. Toast1454TC 21:34, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
- On the contrary G14 is entirely unambiguous, all bad speedy tags do is waste time; please refrain from tagging any pages for speedy until you have read and understood the criteria. Also judging by your message on my talk page you don't seem to understand the differrence between a speedy tag and an AFD notice, so you should spend some time familiarizing yourself with deletion policy more generally before continuing to make edits in the area, thank you. 204.111.137.20 (talk) 21:55, 10 September 2025 (UTC)

Warning : Rollback
You were reminded above of the following when you were granted rollback privileges : "Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked."
This edit is clearly a content dispute against an anonymous editor, restoring information that is under contention. Irrespective of whether this is a well explained edit, it's clearly made with the intent of improving the encyclopedia.
If I see repeated abuse of the rollback privileges, I'm afraid they will have to be withdrawn. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 08:15, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- I still don't see why the content should be removed. What's wrong with it? Toast1454TC 11:27, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
- I have no opinion on the content; suffice to say you should not use anti-vandalism tools on an edit simply because you disagree with it. I would advise you to forget about project maintenance entirely and focus solely on writing articles. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:36, 24 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:01, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
Woodhey High School
That's not vandalism, it's a content dispute. PCHS Pirate Alumnus (talk) 15:05, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
November 2025
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Woodhey High School. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.
Important points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. PCHS Pirate Alumnus (talk) 15:06, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- I haven't broken the 3RR yet, and I think I'll open an RFC on the talk page. Seeing the page history, do you think the page should be protected? Toast1454TC 15:08, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- I didn't say you did, and personally I'd say use IP blocks instead of protection if the TAs continue edit warring. Established users like you and I should know better, but I can understand the mistake because I almost reverted and warned the one TA for blanking myself when I first stumbled across it in recent changes. It's easy for RC patrol to start to feel like whack-a-mole, but it's really more like those training exercises USA law enforcement have with shoot/don't shoot scenario targets, and reverting a good edit is like accidently shooting the little old lady or mom with kids cut out. Reverted Edit to Angels & Airwaves
Hello, I saw your message on my page about an edit of mine you reverted on the page for Angels & Airwaves. In your revert comment, you said that my edit was not explained, which if I'm being honest, I disagree with. A comment was left when the edit was made clearly stating that the removed content was biased speculation on the part of whoever added it. Nothing in the provided source discussing "possibly putting Angels & Airwaves on a hold," which is why this was removed. I don't know if you may have missed the comment left on my edit, so if you could explain a bit more, it would clarify the situation. Thank you. !SmadeB! (talk) 19:32, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Good afternoon, from Portugal,
per this message (please see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:~2026-25929-92; it's also me, i sometimes edit logged off, not a wiki-crime i believe), kindly do tell me where do you see the disruptive editing? The editor before me even told in their summary "please change this into something better, the bot told me to do this shit", and their sentence needed upgrading (and i saw no problem whatsoever with the previous version hence i reinstated it).
I also did some "disruptive" editing at Jorge Pulido (adding NINE references for example, now all the important topics/paragraphs and honours and sourced), i would appreciate it if you did not accuse of something i never did here (and i have been here for almost 20 years)!

The movie is dated in 1978 (no internet) so no internet response?
If they bring out a movie in 2026, reviews on websites might be actually captioning the moment, but not for movies from 1978.
They outdate the internet and don't need these mentions, unless they are live api calls to these websites (which they aren't).

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Indian locomotive class WDM-3 when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.
