Fresh when nominated. Obviously sufficiently long and apparently comprehensive. Well-furnished with sources, which all seem to cover what they are meant to cover. I see no copyright issues. Questions, JTtheOG: should the biography of a deceased person not say "football player" rather than "former football player"? Is he sufficiently notable as businessman, educator, and civic leader to warrant being defined as such in the lead sentence? This strikes me a bit like defining Princess Diana as a preschool educator or Pope Francis as a chemist. Finally, and more importantly, would a diaper service angle not be more interesting? I had not heard of that service before. Surtsicna (talk) 20:39, 8 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hello! Thanks for taking this on. I've omitted the word "former" from the lead sentence. Honestly, Barrabee was better known for his illustrious college football career rather than his two-month stint as a pro, so it felt strange to have that be his only defining characteristic. However, I do understand the issue with it. Perhaps I could expand the lead to paint a better picture instead of trying to summarize it in a pair of sentences. I don't think this pair of comparisons is terribly helpful, though; Princess Diana was princess for longer than two months, which very well might be the amount of time she worked at the pre-school. Lastly, although I have also never heard of a diaper service before, I still believe that someone doing a tobacco farming internship in Cuba the same year they play in the NFL is a little more interesting to the average reader, but I of course have nothing to substantiate that.
