This template creates a userbox that indicates that you honor the remembrance of an important regional event.

Use

To use this userbox template, place the following line of Wikitext on your user page:

{{User honors|region|year|event|since|picture}}

where:

region is an optional region name (default United States))

year is an optional original event year (default 1776)

event is an optional event type capitalized and linked (default United States Independence)

since is an optional prepositional lead (default since)

picture is an optional x45px image file to be used instead of the region flag.
