My username is Ice Vest. I am new to editing this website. Please let me know if I make any mistakes, I am eager to improve my writing and contributions.
I don't know how to do any sort of boxes or graphics and I have no programming ability. I am a native English speaker. I have not created any articles - when I do, I will list them in another section. Thank you for visiting my page.
Current Project
Right now, I am working on updating the Kabanga Nickel Project. My todo list is as follows:
- Establish a physical chronology of the mine that accounts for site discovery, early development, the current state of the project, and the estimated date of completion.
- This information can be found here under the "minerals yearbook"
- Establish a political/economic chronology of the mine that accounts for the evolving corporate structure of the joint venture, the sales and the various partnerships.
- Perhaps also see if there is coverage of the legislation (if any exists) that authorized the joint venture. Incorporate if so.
- Verify that the current 50,000 volume figure is correct. It seems to conflict with Lifezone's most recent report.
- See if it's possible to get credible volume figures for the copper and the cobalt as well.
- Determine the relative size of the project - some sources claim it as "one of the largest in the world" - and if so, incorporate.
- Find a way to include imagery and a map.
