Hello 065nana. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:065nana. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=065nana|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 14:16, 22 November 2025 (UTC)

Hello! I'm a Brazilian illustrator and I'm participating in Ilustradona WELx 2025 created by Wiki Editoras Lx. In Ilustradona WELx 2025, we are including illustrations of cisgender and transgender women and non-binary people to increase the visibility of their respective Wikipedia articles. Ilustradona WELx 2025 is part of the #VisibleWikiWomen2025 campaign. I'm not being directly or indirectly compensated for this edit. This is my first contribution here, and English is not my native language, but I will do my best to answer any questions. 065nana (talk) 14:35, 22 November 2025 (UTC)
I would highly recommend that you and your group halt your efforts. These illustrations raise significant and serious issues that should be discussed. Please see Wikipedia talk:Image use policy#Illustrations of people; I'd also suggest directing the leader of your efforts there, too. If you want to work on providing images for articles.on any group of people, please try to obtain photographs, especially from people woth public contact information. 331dot (talk) 12:43, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
As I've explained to you many times before, I only collaborated on the Ilustrana 2025 project (I won't explain the project again, as I've already done so). If you believe the project is wrong, you should go after Wiki Editoras Lx and Whose Knowledge?. First you accused me of being paid, and I proved that wasn't true. Then you said it wasn't possible to know if Emi Koyama resembled the person in the illustration, and again I proved that wasn't true. Then you said my illustration was based on a video, and I explained that a creative process goes far beyond recreating an image from a video, and even that wasn't enough. There's no point in me putting in the effort here when we already have a pattern. I understand your concerns, and I really think you should go after Wiki Editoras Lx and Whose Knowledge? if you really believe in the significance and seriousness of this issue. I guarantee you that none of the points you raised were discussed during the project. Therefore, it would be interesting if you could have this debate with these groups on this subject. Believe it or not, but if I had known all of this, and especially if I had known how much trouble this upload would entail, I wouldn't have participated. I really hope I don't need to reply here anymore. Have a great day. 065nana (talk) 13:11, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
Whether you reply or not is up to you and your desire to contribute. I'm sorry you are frustrated by this, but we take copyright issues very seriously. As I said, there are ways to expand the number of articles with portraits of the subject that do not involve original illustrations not based on the presence of the subject(in which case you could just photograph them). In the case of Emi Koyama- go to her website and email her to ask her if she would be willing to upload a selfie(the easiest thing to do copyright wise) or provide it to you.
You and your group's ultimate goal here is a good one and I support it but it needs to be done the right way. I really am trying to help you, but if you don't wish to pursue this further, that's your option. Good day to you. 331dot (talk) 13:24, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
