Welcome to project spaceflight!
What are you interested in working on? I would be more than happy to assist and show you the ropes :-) - Neopeius (talk) 23:24, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- I'm a huge SpaceX buff, I've been following them since 2013. I stay up-to-date on spaceflight innovations and reusability. I'm still getting the feel for editing but I'm usually a quick learner; my biggest obstacle is I don't have internet access at work. If there are any little ways I can help I'm more than happy to and thanks for reaching out! Alpacaaviator (talk) 09:22, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft
Thanks for signing up for this project. It is a very busy and active project with lots going on and we can always use more help and especially a fresh set of eyes. If you haven't done so already you might want to add Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aircraft to your watch list as this is where much of the background discussion occurs. You may also want to watch Wikipedia:New articles (Aircraft) as this is where newly created articles get listed for peer review. Having a look over these new articles is a great way to get a feel for how things are done on the project and also most new articles need reviewing anyway. If you have any questions you can leave me a note or post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aircraft, either way you will get a quick response. - Ahunt (talk) 19:07, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

Kissing Tower
Hey Alpacaaviator!
Welcome to WikiProject Amusement Parks! I have seen you begun work on several articles relating to our project, namely the Kissing Tower. I thought to let you know you are making a great start, and if you are seeking out additional resources to research, check out the Wikipedia Library (namely Newspapers.com or ProQuest). There are a lot of resources pre-dating the world wide web you can find on either database, particularly for attractions around the time period of the Kissing Tower.
All the best. Adog (Talk・Cont) 04:56, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks! I haven't had too much luck finding what I'm looking for on Kissing Tower yet, but it already came in use for Geisinger Medical Center and I plan to use it more. Alpacaaviator (talk) 04:06, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
I have sent you a note about a page you started
Hi Alpacaaviator. Thank you for your work on PAM Health. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Thanks for creating this page on a US health care provider; it's concise and clear. Just be careful regarding the structuring of articles to ensure that juxtaposition of distinct topics isn't drive by 'point of view', something I wondered about in your collaborations section.
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

- @Klbrain:
- Thanks for the feedback! Please feel free to edit it; I agree that another perspective would help it be more WP:NEUTRAL. Alpacaaviator (talk) 19:03, 26 March 2025 (UTC)

April 2026
Hi, and thank you for your edits to Wikipedia. I wanted to follow up about an edit where, Karen A. Read was removed from a parent category.
This category is part of a group that falls under WP:EGRSD, which covers categories based on ethnicity, gender, religion, sexuality, or disability. These categories are typically set up as non-diffusing. That means when a page is added to a subcategory like this one, it's still meant to be included in the parent category as well.
This is important because removing someone from the parent category can unintentionally change who appears to "belong" there. Over time, that can make the main category look less representative than it actually is, which the WP:EGRSD guideline is designed to avoid.
If you're not sure whether a subcategory is non-diffusing, you can often check the category page itself; many include a note or template. You can also read more at WP:EGRSD and in the section on the final-rung rule. If you need further help, ask at the Teahouse. Thanks again for contributing, and I hope this helps clarify things!
